Yamaha has created Motobot

Motobot, the arch nemesis on Valentino Rossi. If Rossi thought he had a hard time now dealing with Marc Marquez, he thought wrong!

The clever guys over at Yamaha have developed something that looks like something straight out of a science fiction movie, a motorbike riding robot. This could signal end of drained motorcycle batteries and the dreaded empty tank. We can just send Motobot out to fill up and keep the battery charged on cold winter days.

No longer do you have to worry about starting your bike at least once every two weeks and taking it for a ride just to make sure the battery doesn’t go flat. Yes, I know, that never happens! But if it does happen, you can now order your robot minion to take the Yami out for a spin.

Also, I am not sure if South African taxi drivers will appreciate being shown a metal middle finger. At least we know that the machine riding the bike will have sharper reaction times than us and will take good care of our pride and joy!

Yamaha explained it as follows: “We want to apply the fundamental technology and know-how gained in the process of this challenge to the creation of advanced rider safety and rider-support systems and put them to use in our current businesses, as well as using them to pioneer new lines of business.

I just hope they train the bot to fill up the tank after coming back from a ride!
